What we collect and why

We do not ask for your name, your address, your date of birth or any financial information. There is no account to create, no newsletter and no registration. If you write to us, we have whatever you chose to put in the email and nothing more.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, ever.
- We do not build advertising profiles or run behavioural retargeting.
- We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; this site is for adults.
- We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
Analytics and cookies
Analytics only run if you consent, and the site works perfectly well if you decline. Strictly necessary cookies — the ones that remember your consent choice and keep the site secure — do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Affiliate links and third parties
When you click a link to an operator, that operator and its affiliate network may set cookies or record the referral. From that moment their privacy policy applies, not ours. We receive aggregate reporting — how many people clicked, how many opened accounts — and never the identity of an individual person.
Our hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Where a processor is outside the UK, transfers are covered by the UK’s adequacy regulations or by the International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what was done before.
Write to privacy [at] fruitmachineguide.co.uk and we will respond within one month. There is no charge. We may ask for enough information to work out which records are yours, which is usually the email address you wrote from.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, and you can do that without coming to us first.
Security and changes
The site runs over HTTPS, access to the systems holding correspondence is limited to the people who need it, and logs are deleted on the schedule above. No system is perfectly secure, and we would tell you promptly if a breach affected you.
